MR. GRIEVE'S TRAVEL SITE

CULTURAL/ECONOMIC SYNOPSIS

 

For this portion of the assignment, you must prepare a bullet point synopsis on the culture/economy of one of your major travel destinations (at the country level of analysis).

 

Be sure to include (at a minimum) the following information:

• population

• spoken languages

• predominant religion

• major exports/imports

• GDP and GDP per capita

• paper currency and coins (name and relate to U. S. money denominations)

• weather during the summer months (June, July, August) or during the time you will be visiting

• at least one social custom different from the United States

 

*Hint: The CIA World Factbook is a great source for this information. Fast Seat Belts is another good one if you happen to be going to one of the countries on the list.
